McCranie at the New Daylight grounds

For sometime now, Daylight Children Center and School has been meeting in a borrowed facility at the Baptist church in Kapenguria. However, some property has been acquired and the children's home will soon relocate to the new site. This new grounds offers ample space for dormitories, classrooms and playgrounds as well as some room to help sustain the school through agriculture and livestock production. Michael played a pivotal role in the acquisition of the grounds. And we are all grateful and excited to see him visit. This was his first time a see this firsthand. The following pictures were taken during his visit to the children's grounds - check them out:

......the property is really spacious.....and already a few structures are up and running
...this little dude seemed to thrive on the lush vegetation

taking a bird's eye-view of the place....for it is set on hill!

....this is it!

...a completed children's toilet/restroom on site

an aerial view of the Margie Smith's House....it's construction is in progress

Michael being shown a stack of newly made bricks.....more bricks are still in the work, and about 100,000 are planned for

Michael at the brick making facility, which is in the back corner of the property....it is a big operation!

Drogba, a Daylight staff, readies a brick mold for Michael to set up....

Michael setting on the ground a fresh brick from a mold ( it is how bricks are made here, rudimentary but it still works)

Michael making an inscription on a brick he just set up.

Michael planting a tree on the property

the new plane needed water....upfront.

All is well that ends with a word of prayer, thanksgiving and praise to the lord
