Michael McCranie goes down to work at Daylight

Michael has been busy at Daylight from day one he arrived. He has joined hands with the Daylight Staff on the day-to-today work activities, and that way has helped get a lot of things done. He got trees seedlings that were eventually planted on the Daylight compound, met with the family that Daylight is acquiring land from ( Mzee Chemonges and family), and most of all, helped get Michael's family and Daylight a dairy cow.... check out the following pictures:-

McCranie at the New Daylight grounds

For sometime now, Daylight Children Center and School has been meeting in a borrowed facility at the Baptist church in Kapenguria. However, some property has been acquired and the children's home will soon relocate to the new site. This new grounds offers ample space for dormitories, classrooms and playgrounds as well as some room to help sustain the school through agriculture and livestock production. Michael played a pivotal role in the acquisition of the grounds. And we are all grateful and excited to see him visit. This was his first time a see this firsthand. The following pictures were taken during his visit to the children's grounds - check them out:

Michael McCranie at Daylight, Kenya

Today, Michael McCranie, a Board Member, was at Daylight, Kenya. He spend the better part of the day with kids. He gave candies, played and had fun with the children. He also helped to serve children's meals. The following pictures tells how the day went:
